gave child as Spinster. Child's Interment was signed by Fred Carpenter and child was buried with Frederick Charles (10681) which was also signed by Fred Charles and so must be related. Doc also says child is grandchild of owner. Owner is Fred as 10681 shows Fred as owner.

inserted from Treorchy Cemetery Interment document 32238. This shows address as 36 Brynhyfryd Place, Treorchy. This is the same address as Fred at the same time. Looking at ages, the current presumption is that Charles Henry is son.

The 1851 Census of Registration District 463 Enumeration District 4, Page 30, Entry 117 showing George Galloway & Agnes (Barclay) has on the pervious page 29 a John Galloway (married to Mary Ann). This is the brother of George as shown in the LDS details.

Wife Mary Ann age 27 born Edinburgh, Midlothian,
2 sons, Stewart age 3 and Francis age 1, both born in Orwell

They lived in Hattontown in the Parish of Orwell from 1847-1853 as Mary gave birth to four children there. Then they were in Orwell in 1857 when a son was born and were in Cupar in Fife when two daughters were born in 1864 and 1866.

In the 1881 census John was living at 4 Royal Band Place in Glasgow with his wife and three youngest children, aged 23, 17 and 14.

Mary, Jean, Christian & John show parents as Stewart Galloway and Janet (Morrison?)

A Stewart Galloway and Janet Thomson is shown on the LDS Family Search as the parents of George Galloway born 13 Jun 1814. Probably the same George who went to S. Wales. It also shows a Mary (b. 8.8.1801), Jean (b. 1.4.1804), Christian (b. 7.10.1810) and John (b. 25.9.1825) also children of a Stewart Galloway and Janet Thomson.
