146. Elizabeth Rachel FAIRBROTHER

Pamela Dennison - GR - 5.9.2008
THERE IS AN ELIZABETH FAIRBROTHER IN 1851 CENSUS LIVING IN CLUTTON. SHE IS UNDER 1 YEAR OLD. THERE IS ALSO A REGISTERED MARRIAGE IN CLUTTON OF ELIZABETH MARRYING A GEORGE BARTLETT IN 1870. I THINK THIS IS THE CORRECT ONE. HOWEVER ON FAMILY SEARCH 1880 CENSUS I FOUND AN ELIZABETH FAIRBROTHER DAUGHTER OF A JAMES FAIRBROTHER ON A NEW YORK CENSUS. THAT JAMES FAIRBROTHER WAS BORN IN IRELAND AND SO WAS HIS WIFE CHRISTINE AT THAT TIME AND ELIZABETH IS THE OLDEST CHILD. ALL THE YOUNGER CHILDREN WERE BORN IN NEW YORK USA. MAY NOT BE CONNECTED BUT COULD BE ????

My great great grandmother was Theodosia Heal Stock (b 1868), you reference her as Minnie Heal per the 1881 census. She was named for her older sister who died at 14 years of age, in 1865.

This entry is on BMD and is the only one that fits except for the location. I am far from convinced that this is correct. But is a possible:
Marriages Dec 1852
HEAL Isaac Orchard Greenwich 1d 791
JELLEY Mary Ann Greenwich 1d 791
More likely possibles are:

Marriages Dec 1852
Hale Isaac Clutton 5c 1161
