William CALDICOTT

Maureen's notes:
William was reputed to have drowned in the river Tame at Witton. Suicide?

Les Bradley says that he remembers a story that says he committed suicide by poison by the river in Witton. He used to be nagged by his wife over work constantly and finally couldn't take it. He does say that the story came from his mother and believes that his mother blamed her for his death.

taken from BMD Foord's married in Holborn within the correct period. This is the only one. In the same Qtr checking the Jane's that got married there are two possibilities. Jane BUTLER (page 1054) and Jane Eliza FLAWN (page 1064).
I favour BUTLER, for no other reason than instinct. (KF)

As the children listed in the census were all born in St Pancras here are other possible family members, all born in St Pancras district.
